Yandoit Hill

A large heavily eroded scoria cone with lava capping and associated flows.

Impressions: 

Although there is probably only one eruption point here, erosion as created a cluster of hills each with lava capping. This is a confusing landscape to interpret. Adding interest to the locality is a scattering  of old stone buildings, some ruinous ones such as the old pub in the photo.
